Sophie’s life has just got back on track, when in a single day all is shattered.
Bewildered and blindsided she must pick up the pieces of her life.
Realizing there is no going back to her perfectly plotted life, Sophie is forced to seek refuge.
So she heads home; first to the English countryside into her parents nurturing arms,
and then to a quaint Italian village and into the inspiring and receptive arms of her nonna Rosa.
Will she find happiness again and could love make an unexpected appearance along the way?
I most certainly did get away this summer, without even leaving my sofa!
The cover is so pretty with its pastel colours, that’s what drew me to want to read it.
This was an easy to read book with a lovely main character. Each chapter had me gripped and I adored my time in Italy, having never been before.
I feel the ending was possibly left open for a second book and even the cook book? I’d love to read the cook book.
It was a very enjoyable read and I received an advanced review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily.
I give this book 5*
