Rome Is Where The Heart Is by Tilly Tennant

As a #BookReviewer #BookBlogger I am lucky enough to get to read proof copies of upcoming books, so when I saw @TillyTenWriter had been busy once again, I had to get in touch with @bookouture to see if they would whizz over a copy for me.

I’ve been a fan of this writer for some time now and she never fails to deliver. Tilly really does have a way of captivating her readers and taking them to the settings of her stories. I have really enjoyed myself in Rome this time round, drinking coffee along the pavement cafés.

This really is a heartwarming story of a Northern girl. ( OK, I’m biased, I too am a northern girl)  I am obviously not giving anything away as I never do in my reviews but for those of you who love a lovely romantic not sloppy, book to read. This should be on your #SpringBookList

I rate this book 5/5

We Have Lost The Pelicans by Paul Mathews

#BookBlogger 📚. This book by @IamTheHuman is out now so if you like Political Satire and a bit of a look into the future with a few laughs along the way, then this book is for you.

“We Have Lost The Pelicans”  was rather different to what i had expected. I laughed but wasn’t sure if i was laughing in the correct places. It had a little bit of mystery and suspense in there too but again I was kind of confused in parts.

I must add that I’m not really a Political Satire kind of girl but i think for those who are, this book will be a real treat.

London, 2044. The St James’ Park pelicans have gone missing – the day before the Republic’s new pelican flag is unveiled. At the same time, British intelligence uncovers coded e-comms about possible anti-Government activity. Who are the bird-nappers and what do they want? And who is behind the secret messages? Agent Howie Pond – licence to lunch – reluctantly agrees to try and find out. Howie’s fiancée Britt has a secret mission of her own – to identify the mysterious owner of Windsor Castle. And to add to the chaos, Howie and Britt are supposed to be getting married tomorrow…

‘We Have Lost The Pelicans’ is the second comedy-thriller novel in the We Have Lost series and carries on from where ‘We Have Lost The President’ left off. It’s packed with the same great humour and exciting action, and a double mystery that will keep you guessing. Meet some old friends and a host of new characters when you take another trip to London, 2044.

Exposure by Ava Marsh

#BookBlogger 📚 Wow!!@MsAvaMarsh is a Jolly good writer and I must thank her for posting out to me this absolutely sex on legs book for me to #read & #review. And to The Book Club for recommending it 💜

I’ve not read any of Ava’s work before so had no idea what to expect but I can tell you, that her writing style is like no other author I’ve ever read and I LOVE IT!!!

I was so intrigued by the story that I read the book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. The characters are fantastic and as a fan of prison dramas this book really hit the spot for me.

It was gritty, sexy, edgy, eye opening easy to read thriller but if you are easily offended by lots of sex you had best stay away.

I rate this book 5/5

The new novel from the author of UNTOUCHABLE, with her unique brand of unputdownable thriller and something a little extra…

Kitty Sweet is in prison, charged with double murder. She’s as damaged as she is charismatic, as dangerous as she is charming. And now she’s been invited to tell her story, to explain how on earth it came to this.

Here is a story of heartbreak and desperation, of adulation and glamour. Of ruin. She’s descended to an underworld that most people can only imagine and she’s lived to tell the tale…

Meet Kitty.

If the Creek Don’t Rise by Leah Weiss

My Thanks to @Sourcebooks who sent over this book to me through @NetGalley. Here is my #Review #BookBlogger

This is a debut novel by Leah Weiss and it really is good.I loved the cover of this book, it made me want to know more about the girl. It is a story told from different points of view where all the story starts to fall into place. It is a tearjerker so be ready for it, but a truly remarkable read. The people of Baines Creek are honest and gritty folk. This is a book of abuse and scandal but so well written.

Ragdoll by Daniel Cole

Thank you @orionbooks @NetGalley & of course the man himself @Daniel_P_Cole for giving me the opportunity to #review #Ragdoll.

This is going to be the most wanted crime thriller of 2017. It has it all. It is amusing in parts,in a dark kind of way.  It has great characters, there is blood and guts, a fabulous storyline which had me on the edge of my seat and boy oh boy there are more twists and turns than a fairground waltzer.

If you love a good crime thriller then 2017 is the year for #Ragdoll
